Unity in the Community Outreach

We support many service projects in our local community. These include: The Mental Health Association of Southwest Florida, Substance Abuse Coalition of Collier County, Avalon Elementary School, Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Guadalupe Center, Redlands Christian Migrant Association, MS Society and many others. Our Traveling Angels are an international outreach program that supports school children in Guatemala. They have delivered several thousand book bags filled with school supplies as well as clothing, shoes, medical supplies and toys.

A very special “Thank You” for the wonderful response to our 4th annual School Supplies collection. The supplies were sorted and delivered to Avalon School, Grace Place and the Guadalupe Center in time for the opening of school. A special thank you also to Konie Jestus for shopping and Bonnie Mallon and Val Flanigan for making the deliveries. If you haven’t brought in your donation and still would like to, you can still bring them in on Sunday morning s or to the church office during the week. They are always greatly appreciated! These supplies will go a long way in giving these children the great opportunity to succeed by making these much needed items available to them. Thank you for your support!
